Culturfied is a Washington, DC nonprofit, IRS 501(c)(3) organization. We believe that culture and innovation are boundlessly intertwined. A person’s background, upbringing, and environment are directly connected to how they innovate. Similarly, innovative breakthroughs and disruptions can change societies – and ultimately the world. Our vision is a society that understands and values culture's role in science and innovation.
Our mission is to maximize innovation by conducting research and providing services that promote appreciation for the richness, uniqueness, and diversity of every culture. The purpose is to contribute to economy-bolstering innovation and entrepreneurship by advancing knowledge at the intersection of culture and science. We use this knowledge to provide meaningful formal and informal cultural education and training experiences across the development continuum.
The Innovator's DNA
Innovative entrepreneurs have something called creative intelligence, which enables discovery yet differs from other types of intelligence. It is more than the cognitive skill of being right-brained. Innovators engage both sides of the brain as they leverage the five discovery skills to create new ideas (Associating, Questioning, Observing, Experimenting, Networking).
